About

Background Info

Work history, operating architecture, and how to get in touch.

Work history

  • 3 yrs — Employee #1 at a tech startup (ISP) that was acquired, while studying.
  • 8 yrs — Web dev, systems admin, DB admin, and apps across banking, universities, and government.
  • 8 yrs — Operator, analyst, and architect in my own service business.
  • 10 yrs — Analyst and architect in private consulting, dozens of SMEs.
  • Now — AI automations & custom systems.

Philosophy

  • Solid foundation systems (the boring, load-bearing parts that stay stable, supported)
  • Leave deliberate space in the stack to try shiny objects without rewriting everything on a whim
  • Ecosystem view — anything new needs to play well and clearly earn its place
  • It should feel enjoyable and productive
